When we are using UV printer, if there appears double image on the media and the left side of the printer sound knocking, we must turn off the printer urgently and check if the raster is damaged. If the raster is confirmed broken, then we need to change the raster.

1. First we need to turn off the machine, move the carriage to the middle of the guide rail.

2. Loose the top cover of the raster along with the screws around it. After we removed the top cover, we must loosen the screws around the raster and take them out without touching the decoder and the X limit switch.

3. Fasten one end of the new raster, in case of the imbalance, we can cut the extra raster after the other end is fixed. Then, use the clip slice to fix the raster.

4. After we installed the raster following above instruction, we should check if the raster is in the middle of the decoder’s groove. After confirmed, turn on the printer and check the readings of the carriage if it is normal. If abnormal, test it for multiple times and wipe the raster. If still not working, keep replacing the raster until it works.
