How to clean the inside of the UV printer?

The daily maintenance for UV printers is very familiar to most of the customers. Today, Handtop Tech would like to give some introductions on the cleaning of the inside for UV printers. Of course, in normal condition, the inside of the UV printing device don’t need to be cleaned very often.

Below are some tips when cleaning the inside of UV printer:

1. Do not clean the print head. The print head have auto clean device, the unnecessary cleaning operation will affect the normal use of the print head.

2. Do not use liquid with chemical additives such as detergent to clean the inside of the UV printer. In case these liquids are left over the surface of the parts due to improper handling and cause unnecessary blocking problem.

3. The gears and ink boxes do not needed to be cleaned. Because the gear are wear resistant titanium alloy gear which are with high performance. The ink boxes themselves are made of tight seamless industrial plastic. There won’t be dust or dirt in these two types of parts.

The UV printer manufacturers suggest that don’t clean the inside of UV printer unless under very special circumstances. When cleaning, a technician knows the internal structure must be in presence.
